Genealogical Research Center will attempt to complete your family history for you if you are experiencing difficulty in achieving the results you desire. Due to our staff having to devote the time necessary time to accomplish the research for you, GRC does charge a fee for services rendered. Every attempt will be made to deliver to you a complete genealogical history on your family members, however, as with any genealogical project, RESULTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED. In most cases, GRC will be able to deliver to you much more information than you have been able to accumulate yourself. We search all databases available to genealogist, even if it means having to visit the local Clerk of Court where your families records are located. If, due to travel distances, it is not possible for our staff to perform the research for you, we will contact the necessary individual to obtain the records for us and deliever the records (or a copy of) to you.
FEES: In order to utilize our research services, GRC requires a payment of $500.00, cash, cashiers check or Money Order BEFORE we will begin. This deposit will will be used at the rate of $25.00 per hour. If, at the conclusion of our research, there is a balance remaining, this will be returned to you along with all information gathered.
DONATIONS: As with any genealogical organization, GRC can use all monies to further our acquistion of records and to help offset the costs associated with this maintaining this site. No matter how large or how small a contribution may be, all are appreciated and go toward the expense of operating this site and purchasing materials or equipment.
VOLUNTEERS: If you would like to volunteer your time to help others with their research, please send us an email and let us know what your expertise is. Hopefully, if we can get enough people to volunteer, we can stop asking for fees and donations altogether.
JOIN GRC: If you would like to join the growing ranks of GRC, we do ask for a ONE TIME membership fee of $129.00. For your $129.00 you get our help in preparing your own website for your family, access to all our records, advise on where and how to acquire those "difficult to obtain" records, you will have access to our database of addresses. In general, you become part of the team and, therefore, have complete access to everything we presently have available or will have available in the future. Again, if we sign up enough members, fees and donations will be abandoned.
CONTRIBUTING YOUR FAMILY HISTORY: Help GRC grow our database by contributing your family information. We require that you submit verificaton of your records so we can check your sources. This is not a matter of trust, it is the only way we can be 100% positive that the information we receive is accurate. Having "been there, done that" many times, I know that some family histories are just a collection of unverified reports. Most pf these "inaccurate" family histories are not assembled to fool anyone but are a simple mistake by someone with little or no experience in genealogical research.
